Hauk Aabel the famous Norwegian comedian was born on 21 April 1869 in the city Forde present in Norway. Hauk Aabel, this comedian was much admired because all knew how difficult it is to act in silent movies, yes Hauk Aabel was acting in silent comedy roles which needed great skills to perform.

Hauk Aabel acted in many of the Norwegian and Swedish films, he was fluent in these to languages even though it was not of great importance since the performance he lately involved were all in silent movies. He made his first appearance in a stage play, which was his debut in 1897. This happened in the Christiania Theater present in Oslo. Hauk Aabel was considered and seen as a prominent and a busy active actor in the theatres of Norway.

In the year 1917, he started off working in the movies in Sweden these were mostly silent movies, by this time he was popular among the people. Hauk Aabel later returned to his own county Norway, this was in 1927, where he again went on acting in many silent movies. This was the period when sound was made available in the films, he later also performed in movies that had sound. His last movie was that he did in the year 1938, by then he was 71 years old.

Hauk Aabel did end his career leaving behind another star, this was none other than his son named Per Aabel who was then a great comedian and had done a variety of comedy roles in the Norwegian films. Hauk Aabel died on 12 December 1961, Oslo, Norway.
