Ulrich Thomsen was a Danish artist born on 6 December 1963; he was born in Fyn present in Denmark. This actor went on to become one of the good actors in both his country as well as in the Hollywood.

Ulrich Thomsen was born and brought up in Denmark, in the year 1963 he did his graduated in The Danish National School of Theatre and Contemporary Dance. Ulrich Thomsen always dreamt of being an actor which is why he did his graduation here. After his graduation he left to the U.S. here he worked as a delivery boy of a pizza shop. Ulrich Thomsen was very fluent in Danish, German and English, which later helped him.

Ulrich Thomsen later started playing roles in the theaters of Copenhagen some of his theater performances were Mungo Park, Østre Gasværks Teater and Dr. Dantes Aveny.

Ulrich Thomsen then started of with films as an actor his first movie was in 1994 where he acted in the movie named Nattevagten directed by Ole Bornedal's. This led him permanently into the film industry, he did many movies later, and he was one preferred by the directors for his way of acting. Some of those movies are named - Blinkende lygte, Sekten.

Ulrich Thomsen was still in the shadows till this movie of his was released, Festen in the year 1998. This movie gave him big surprises. This movie was directed by the famous Thomas Vinterberg. Ulrich Thomsen went through his dreams as this movie led his name speak all over the world. Soon, he got calls for movies in Hollywood, one of the biggest movies that he was signed for was the all famous James Bond movie The World Is Not Enough in the year 1999.he later did few English movies .his recent movie was Killing Me Softly which was released in the year 2002.
