Airtel Broadband Services Internet Plans : Airtel is offering different broadband plans based on the customers requirement ie unlimited plans on different broadband speeds and along with the internet connection they do offer a landline phone which can be used at call charges of 1Rs pulse rate. Airtel broadband services are right now available in all the major cities and towns in india, but not in the inner rural areas.

I have started enquiring about airtel broadband nt connection at its customer care and from that day the agony of listening to false commotment started.
I have applied for broadband net connectionon 20-11-08 after confirmation from field staff that the connection will start working by 21-11-08,but ,it is unbelievable that after many false commitments and my following up it is not in working condition today also.
It is one of the most traumatic episode of my life as no one was giving right information and willing to stand on his words.
PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR BROADBAND CONNECTION OF AIRTEL AS BEFORE INSTALLATION IF THIS IS THE SITUATION THEN AFTER YOU CAN THINK.

they should atleast provide 1 or 2Mbps speed below 1000rs, 1699rs for 1 Mbps is not worth it, in other countries like japan and south korea you get like 200 Mbps for less than 1000rs and in most european countries 50 Mbps is provided for 500rs per month, india still ranks 115th rank at internet speed, they should provide 1mbps plan for 500 or 600rs per month, then it will be good..
