   Hi I have purchased an Arcamax laptop at the same offer that u have bought it where they came to my house, I am not to sure abt the damages but I have been using it for the past 1year and everything is absolutely fine except for the speed since I gt 196 mb of memory and 60mb of physical memory which Arcamx cheated in the offer after saying they would give 256mb of ram.

   i have boght 6 laptops and 15 desktops from arcamax in 2004 and all are working fine. Arcamax does not give os as they have advertised only for hardware. I am extremely happy with the extended on site warranty which no one is giving in india.

   I also bought Arcamax loptop a year ago for rs 51000/-INR
   iam very much happy with the product and more over i have given
   reference of my offices colleqe and they are also happy with product
   but i have a small problem with customer care they are not coming
   in time

   My arcamax laptop also has a pirated copy of windows OS,
   Every time I power on my laptop I get a windows genuine advantage validation failed

   Few years before Best Friend Of Mine Working in Arcamax Computer
   I am going to tell genuine things

   1 ,The Company is Not ISO 1900 or Any Other Certification
   2, They are same like others Buy parts from Out said and assembling
   3, They are using Samsung ,LG , Philips monitors and they rub the original name and screen print ARCAMAX
   4, Difference between other some small computer firms they have a big building , in the building they have small small rooms , First Mr Vinod’s Office , opposite to customer care office
   mar kiting manager , markiting executives , hardware service engineers, most of these enginers didn’t know Basie’s of computer installation or proper hardware or software troubleshooting
   5, Mr Vinod (the Boss) he don’t know how deal with the subordinates , some times he is like a dog , he is barking to everyone
   6, they have finance with city bank they make lone , u will pay twice for one computer
   7, those people think Arcamax is like DELL,HP or Compaq , It is world Cheapest and Bad computer
   8,Before you order they told you the system is covered with three year warranty , the system is covered only one year hardware warranty , next two years you must pay for the service , in the warranty period , no warranty for software and any installed software is not genuine including windows
   9, be care full , about arcamax india

   I have a airtel base phone(09932469231) for using broadband service.Avery 20th-26th day of a month the gprs connection does not response & the customer care officers are not interested to solve this problem. Last three days I cannot connect the gprs. Please solve my problem quickly.Waiting for your answer.I recharge 498.00 on 17/06/07 for gprs.

    HI,

    I have bought a desktop few years back and as well as a laptop in the recent from Arcamex.
    Both the systems were very reliable and I haven’t had any issue with them till now.I totally agree to the fact that it is not as good as HP,IBM or Dell…..however any person who is looking to buy a Arcamax laptop/desktop is fasinated by the fact that they are less expensive….so obviously cannot expect the performance of DELL,SONY etc.Also i agree with my friend who said above that “Arcamax does not give os as they have advertised only for hardware.”….i am a happy customer of arcamez and i know many more who are…A customer of Arcamex since 2001

    Buying desktop or Laptop from Arcamax means waste of money. I bought Laptop from Arcamax during October 2007. With in 3 days i faced problem of not powering on, network port not working and no software installed. I logged call and they didn’t respond finally i had to pay other vendor to set it right. the laptop again gave trouble of not powering on. I called their customer care and after 15 days their service engineer turned up (minimun 100 times i called). again with hiccups the problem solved.

    These people are very bad they dont pick up the phone. They switched off their mobiles. Its very painful expeience. I lost my 35K due to this fraud company.

    Please dont buy anything from this company.

    Hi,

    I have bought a desktop and a notebook from Arcamax, and what a pathetic service they provide, the desktop had major and still has major issues, looks like these guys wanted for the warranty of (1yr H/W) to expire so that they can make big bucks,

    The Service Engineer (Sridhar) thinks as if he is the big boss of the Tech support, though i work fof a COMPUTER GIANT (HP) i went in for this as it was cheap for the same specs that i could buy @ HP, I was corned and cheated big time, i have to wait 13days for an engg to arrive, when i call the customer care, Sirdhar says that ” My engg will come” when asked tha i have been waiting for 13days and still no sign, he has the gutts to say that ” My engg will arrive : i will make sure that his dead body will arrive ” what does he mean!!, i expect good service, since my H/W warranty is gone, and my motherboard is conked – they expect me to pay for the service, (after all the repairs that they made during warranty),

    they use VIA chipsets that are very bad.

    and my Notebook, pathetic, dont ask – so slow that i can go and grab a coffee and drink it whole for my system to boot !!,

    There was an issue with the DVD – combo, and when raised a complaint, they said that to replace the combo drive (sridhar), when checked on the website of the maker of the WEbsite they informed that i have to flash, god alone knows WHO APPOIUNTED THESE FREAKS in the organisation, they dont understand how to Flash a drive, if i do it my self then these guys will say that my warranty is VOID! – when called them up and give them the solution they dont expect, all they want to do is to replace and make quick bucks,

    Please do let me know if you wanna buy both the desktop and the notebook,
    as for i have decided that if i buy these parts locally i get 3yrs warranty and 1yr (replacement), or i will go in for a BRAND, like lenovo , Dell or HP, never again i will do business again with them , nor i will advise my friends to do business with them again.

    I also go purchased laptop in 2006, I came to know that the OS is a pirated one when I tried to update IE to IE 7. I’m having a major problem with the battery now. can any one instruct me how to buy a new battery.

    Beware of Arcamax India… I bought a laptop for Rs36000 with one year warranty but after 2 weeks the UPS battery was completely gone.I went to the dealer to get it repaired but now they are charging me Rs7000.

    Do not buy any Laptops or Computers from this company.

    Arcamax is one lousy company. Their computers contain all imported parts from china which are NOT covered by WARRANTY / PAID SERVICE by any of the established hardware vendors like SAMSUNG INDIA, LG INDIA etc..

    I had a very bad experience with their SAMSUNG monitor.

    I bought 2 desktops, i see the quality of picture is too bad..
    I am ok with this, but the system should work fine for atleast one year
    I want to see alteast one good comment on arcamaxindia computers , so that i can be relieved to some extent

    Arcamax is totally fraud,and they are now started to send some mails that you can make money without working (really) and can make $30000 to $50000 in a month.(for getting that tricks they are asking $1000, so i understood what is going to happen.But some of my friends got cheated.After received that money they send some useless documents and now they are saying that to send another $5000 to get the full tricks to make money.I think this is the their trick for making money,cheating people) For that they giving some fake stories of some one.Some guys are saying that they bought the laptop or desktop from Arcamax and they are working fine till now, that will be only because of their luck(otherwise some one from Arcamax ,is written that comments).Anyway dont believe them and as a charity or help or saving people from fraud, please everyone send this information to others.

    I Am Anish a former service engineer in arcamax ,in the cause of all laptops and notebooks are related to lot of things , if you turn on your laptop or notebook make sure there was lots of air in and out let vents so anyone block this it will cause a thermal disorder to work some components abnormally mainly heat seek sensors on the main board ,so first make sure that ,this advice is not only for laptops ,computers are working on low power but the new ons are only the main processor uses 75 to 110 watts , think if a tiny processor works 75 watts it will produce heat , so you need a ultra powered cooling system ,if the hole system is cool it will work 95% perfectly , now i am working in Chevron as a security and network engineer (LNG) in UK ,

    Hi guys
    I am a customer of arcamax for over 3 years and as far as it goes my computer has been doing very well. the difficulty is that youll must understand that computer hardware is different and software is diff. if you only pay for the hardware and expect genuine software you are being really unfair. I have worked closly with this organization and they have a really good future. their standards are high and they are the only brnaded company fighting big brands. I wish them all the best and for any growing companies there are always going to be a few cranky and disappointed customers. Have a look at dellhell.com compaqsucks.com they have a pretty long listing for a brand.
    I congratulate this company an indian company fighting big boys . lets support our indian brothers. I am for sure on thier side. Go undeterred the more the complaints the more popular you are.

    My arcamax desktop also has a pirated copy of windows OS.
    Every time I power on my desktop I get a ‘windows genuine advantage validation failed’message. The Engineer turned up after enough screaming and had the guts to say that they don’t give original OS. He asked for service fee to re-install OS and advised not to get onto any MS websites – can you believe that.
    But what is surprising is that Microsoft has done nothing about these guys. They do it so blatantly. Why doesn’t MS haul these guys up.
    They have a website; off late of course they do not advertise as much as they did earlier. Hope they have gone bankrupt and / or are in prison.

    I had a very very bad Experiance in “House of Laptop” Aundh.I have Booked one machine in this shop and have given
    advance of Rs 5000 on sunday.Then i changed my mind and decided to take other laptop,hence i visted the shop same day and told him about the laptop which i needed, he agreed to it and asked me to come and see the Laptop the next day.when i called next day he dint get the laptop and asked me to come on tuesday.
    On tuesday i called and he ask me to come,when i went there he said they dont have that Laptop now and they will get the laptop by tomorrow for sure.I have asked about the price and addition items with it.
    We agreed to a price and he wrote it down behind the Recipt and given it to me.When i called on wednesday to check if the laptop is ready ,the guy with whome i spoke was having weekly off and no one was aware about the Laptop i have ordered and they were talking about the OLD laptop which i have booked before.
    I got very much anoyed and went to the shop to get the advance refunded.They were not ready to refund the amount nor they were ready to give the Laptop which i have order.The Owner told to me “DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT WE WON’T REFUND THE AMOUNT” or you can come tomorrow and speak to the person with whom you booked the machine. I went again the next day and the guy who booked the machine was now saying he din’t promise to change the machine and have to take the old machine which i have ordered before.
    I have shown him the Recipt on which he has written about the new lappy ,but he DYNED and said i have not written this ,you have added this on your own.Finally i got very angry and ran out of my temper and stared shouting at him badly then finally got the money back………………….After getting tortured for 4 days !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Advise you all not to GO there………..

    Hi…um im very confused arcamax i beleive promised me a free laptop computer i think for taking a survey.yet.i hvnt goten it yet…and observing the comments..im not really looking fwd to it. and now there sending me junk emails ppft…
