Who Is Borat?

The controversial film aptly entitled "Borat" resurfaced the outrageous character of Borat Sagdiyev. He is a fictional journalist from Kazakhstan played by Sacha Baron Cohen, a successful comedian in the UK. Aside from being a seasoned reporter, Borat is also an ice maker and "animal sperm retriever". He is also a Gypsy catcher and he claims he can "catch" gypsies with a rock as far as 15 meters away.

The characters that were developed by Sacha Baron Cohen himself basically made up for who Borat is. The concept was initially convened to Channel 4 back in 1994. Once he played as an anonymous Moldovan and an Albanian media reporter. These roles were for LWD TV, BBC's Comedy and Paramount Comedy Channel. By late 2000 he was already a popular personality and was even a greater success with the launching of the film self-entitled "Borat".

Borat was interviewed and guessed in several American shows to promote his films. His is somehow a bigot, but in a humorous way that seems to amaze people. He seems to be unaware of his bigotry and often give away comments about Kazakhstan, which he claimed as his home country, and other second world countries. The main critics of Borat are mostly the government of Kazakhstan. They accused him of slandering their country in his comedy and satire.

Even as a fictional character, Borat has his own family background as well. He is said to be born July 30 in the year 1972 in Kuczek, a city in Kazakhstan. He has an unpleasant mother, Asimbala Sagdiyev, whom he claims has no affection for him. His father is Boltok the rapist who also happens to be his grandfather by blood. Natalya, a prostitute by profession, is his sister. She has claimed to give the best sex-in-mouth in the city. His younger brother, Bilo, is mentally disturbed and is often secluded from the rest of the world.

He is kept in a locked door or cage where he is said to engage in pornographic materials and pleases himself.
Borat's first ever wife is Oksana Sagdiyeva who is also his half-sister. She died because of a bear attack while walking Bilo in the forest. Borat nonchalantly accepted his death and maintained several relationships with several women who play as his wife, mistress, girlfriend, and prostitutes. Borat has a total of three children, he got two 12-year olds (Bilak and Biram) and a 13-year old child Hooeylewis who seems to be his favorite. He has a total of 17 grandchildren. He once brought his wife and kids to England and tried to sell them off to Madonna.
Watching the film "Borat" would truly be something entertaining. It is a humorous portrayal of political and sexual issues that abound our society today.
