With Bangladesh on the eastern border of this state, it is situated in the eastern part of the Republic Of India. West Bengal is the name of state which has a great importance and an important role to play in the economic growth of the country. Kolkata is the largest city in the whole state and also the capital. Total of 19 districts are there, which combine to form the state of West Bengal.

With the population of almost 80,221,171, it stands at the 4th position as a whole. Those 19 districts are the reason of this growth in the population, however, there are some other states which consists of greater number of districts but their population is not as large as the area they covers, but, with West Bengal, that is not the case. With not so large area, it has a lot of population, hence, rated as the densely populated state of the country.

However, it still has a great importance as a whole. It is one of the dependent states pertaining to agriculture that is one of the reasons of its importance, as it serves the whole country with the output it generates from the agriculture products. Tea is another product that is produced here. Manufacturing industries are playing a most important role in the economic growth of the state as well as for India, these industries consists of steel, leather, textiles, jewelry, automobile and the list goes on as there are some large number of products manufactured here in the state.

West Bengal has gone through a lot of historic and golden times that was the time when there were empires and kingdoms of different rulers and kings. That is one of the reasons that it is quite rich considering those eras of kingdoms. In the field of arts, there have been a lot of big names. All of the cities have some of the specialty that separates them from the rest, for instance, Kolkata is one of the city that will provide you all sorts of information and entertainment at the same time. There are clubs, shopping centers and a lot of buildings that will provide you some fine details about those past days.

You can visit the State of Uttarakhand when you will be in India as it is situated in the Northern part of India. Another important thing about the sate is that it was known as Uttranchal at one point of time but then again reverted back to the Uttarakhand as most of the people were of the view that the name should be this and not Uttranchal.

Dehradun is the largest city of the state and also serves as a capital. There are 13 districts in this state. The combination of these 13 districts makes the state as the 19th largest compared to other states with regard to population. The people living here are often referred as the Garhwali, Kumaoni that is the reason why the languages spoken here are given the same name as the basic languages are Hindi, Garhwali, Kumaoni, along with these there are some minor languages that are spoken in minority.

There have been a lot of efforts and initiatives taken by the government to provide all sorts of facilities in the state, so, it may accommodate the tourists in best of form. Also, there are some policies, some of them have already been implemented and some are still in pipeline which are supposed to be implemented in the near future. All these steps are taken to make the economy of the state to grow. However, there are some of the disputes over some of the constructional projects, for instance there have been some contention over the issue of Tehri Dam.

Because of the Himalayan range, there are a lot of beautiful and attractive scenes that can comfort your mind as anything. As there are some specific people from specific regions, so, that is the reason why a great deal of disparity is visible in the culture and traditions. For instance, music is been also classified in the three categories which are pertaining o the people of specific regions i.e. Garhwali music, Kumaoni music, along with that the basic idea behind the music is religious; hence, religious and devotional music can be experienced in these parts.

In the northern part of India, the state of Uttar Pradesh can be found which has quite a great importance for the country as a whole. Lucknow is the capital of the state. The largest city of the state is Kanpur. Although, the city of Lucknow is said to be the capital of this state but it is considered to be the official capital, however, Kanpur is considered to be the capital of the state with regard to the financial and industrial aspects.

Another worth mentioning thing is that the state of Uttar Pradesh has lot of things and places to lure and accommodate most of the tourists; hence, Agra is considered to be the tourism capital of India. It has as many as 70 districts in it which contribute to make it the biggest of the state regarding the population, as the population is supposed to be somewhere around 180 million.

The major languages spoken here are Hindi and Urdu, especially Urdu is considered to be one of the major in this part of the India with special emphasis on the Lucknow that is supposed to be the fort of some famous Urdu poets and other giants who have done a lot of good to the culture and traditions of the Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and for India as well. However, besides these two languages there are a lot of other languages spoken for instance Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Braj, Bagheli and Bundeli are the other languages that are spoken herein, in fact, Bhojpuri is supposed to come at second place.

The state of Uttar Pradesh have a lot of importance right from its early days and it has seen a lot of empires and kingdoms through all of those grand years, the residual and traces of which can still be found in the cities of Uttar Pradesh. There are a lot of other places and monuments that compel tourists to come and pay a visit, especially, Taj Mahal of Agra has been one of the most popular monument of India and tourist are still quite keen to check that place out.

India is one the place where you will see some of the most diverse traditions and culture, along with this you will be able to see people from almost all of the religions, however, respect is the word for all the religions and for the people associated with those religions. There are 28 states in India in total and all of them have quite some diversification and disparity in all the things that they do and which are basically associated to the specific culture of the state. Tripura is the state of India that is located in the North East region of India.

The name of Tripura was given to it after the name of a king whose name was Tripur; however, there are some other people according to which the name was due to some other reason. However, the history of Tripura is quite old and have a religion importance as the name of is been found in Mahabharata and Puranas as well. Agartala is the capital and the largest city of the state. There are total four districts in this state. Due to the small number of districts, the population is not large, especially when compared to the other states; the population make it the 21st largest in the 28 states. The basic languages that are spoken here are Bengali, Kokborok (Tripuri). The major religion is Hinduism; however, other religions like Islam, Christianity and Buddhism are also practiced by a large number of people.

Basically, Tripura is a hilly place and that is the reason for its climate to be like the one. Climatic conditions are tropical in nature with good amount of rain to go with. Professionally, people are associated with the agriculture and with its related fields. Most of the people are related directly or indirectly with the cultivation of the crops and especially the food crops. Along with this, you can find a lot of people associated with the handicrafts and hand woven things and stuff. Rubber is another specialty of this state.

Being the multilingual state, culture is quite diverse and making it the best place for tourism.

Every thing that is here seems to embedded in mystery and sobriety, the mixture is enough to charm you and also to grip your imagination in such a way that you wont be able to think on any other lines except than thinking about the life in Rajasthan. It has 33 districts and Jaipur is the largest of the cities and that is the reason why it is the capital as well. With the staggering number of districts, it ought to have a large area and it does.

The first and the foremost thing that is well known about Rajasthan is its desert. The name of the Desert is Thar Desert and it is also known as the Great Indian Desert. Desert is not the only thing that you can find in here as here lays the world’s oldest mountain range that is called Aravalli Range. In Thar Desert, there are still some people who are residing in there, however, they are quite small in numbers and in those numbers, largest is the town of Bikaner. People of Rajasthan are mostly associated with profession of agriculture or they have their own animals and they are engaged with pastoral business.

Talking about wildlife, Rajasthan has some of the best and rare species, not only in India but all over the world as well; there are also two of the tiger reserves which are known as Ranthambore and Sariska. National park can also be visited that is situated near Bharatpur. The unique thing about this park is the species of birds that it accommodates which really is a delight to watch.

The land of Rajasthan is quite fertile when it comes to find out some activity that a tourist can enjoy and can feast his eyes with. As the culture and traditions are old and unique, so it will attract you right from the clothes they wear to the festivals they enjoy. Festivity is always a thing that you can participate in at any time of the year.

Bhubaneswar is its largest city and serves as a capital at the same time. There are 30 districts in the state with the 11th largest populous state. The basic language that is spoken here is called Oriya.

As it is situated along the seashores, hence, it has quite rich natural resources. Also, it has some really beautiful and amazing locations, which is the case with places situated close to sea side. Along with this, there are some great monumental places that lure more and more tourists. As Bhubaneswar is the largest city, it has the largest on offer as well; one can visit a lot of temples and forts in the city and also around the state. The Lingaraja Temple of Bhubaneswar, the Jagannatha Temple of Puri, the Sun Temple of Konark and the Barabati Fort of Cuttack are the places which are considered momentous in attracting and promoting tourism.

Climatic conditions are similar to the parts that are situated on coastlines, plenty of rain is experienced by the state and that let it produce some of the basic crops of the country, for instance, it produces two corps of rice, annually.

Considering the economic importance, it has a great part to play in attracting the foreign investments. It’s all because of its location and the resources that nature has endowed it. It is an amazing place to invest in field like steel, aluminum, and refineries, in fact, a large investment have been made to build some steel companies in this state and there are already some very big names who are taking part in it.

Although, it contributes towards the growth of the country in general, but, there have been some issues that are to be sorted out which are regarding the environmental threats.

It is also amongst one of those hilly states that India has. Dimapur is the largest city of the state and the capital is Kohima. There are 11 districts in the state, population is around two million and with relatively smaller area, it is recognized as the smallest state of India. Nagaland was given the name of this pertaining to a tribe that was called Naga tribes. The name is a variation of the Naga tribes and the word Nagaland is lent from here. These tribes were quite similar to those people who were living in Assam and Burma. There has been a great deal of migration on part of people in the Nagalanad from Burma.

Being the hilly side of the nation, climate is quite similar to other such places and states of the country. Hills are varied in nature and can be classified by nature and the height, of course. Mount Saramati is considered highest out of all. Ever-green forests are another thing that adds to its beauty and attraction. Palm, Bamboo, Ratan and mahogany are the major trees that can be found in the forests. In those forests, pangolins, porcupines, leopards, elephants, bears, monkeys, and lot of other species of animals can be experienced.

Along with these animals, Birds are another thing that enhances the overall look and beauty of the forests, the great Indian Hornbill, is considered to be most popular. As, it is a hilly side along with the forests, so one thing is for sure that there would be plentiful of rains and rightly so, as there have been rains that are resulted from the monsoon season. Climate as a whole is intermediary, however, the rains and the forest contributes towards a more humid atmosphere.

As, people here are the migrated tribes who were speaking the Sino-Tibetan Languages, hence, there can be found as many as 60 different languages. However, Hindi and English can also be encountered here in. Religion wise, Christianity is the basic religion along with some others.
