City is located on Deccan plateau in south eastern part of Karnataka with around 6.5 million populations. Bangalore is India’s third most populous city and fifth largest metropolitan area.</p>
<p>Bangalore was founded by Kempe Gowda in 1537. The name Bangalore is obtained from Kannada word Bengaluru which means hero stone or city of guards. Kempe Gowda used to refer city as land of heroes. His successor built four famous towers in city marking city’s boundary. Under Vijaynagara rule city bloomed. In 1864 telegraph connections and rail connections were introduced in city. Bangalore is being referred city of gardens since 1927 which introduced construction of number of public parks, buildings, hospitals and museums. Rapid industrial growth and expansion of private companies as motor industries company led to establishment of Bangalore as Silicon Valley of India.</p>
<p>A large number of people from outside city have come to city to make it their hub as city offers more job opportunity and pleasurable life. City has a number of freshwater lakes and water tanks as Ulsoor Lake, Hebbal Lake, Madivala tank and Sankey Lake. Bangalore has average summers and winters with not too hot or too cold weather.<br />
City is known for its public parks as Lal Bagh and Cubbon Park. Traditional festivals celebrated in city are Dussera, Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid, Christmas and Sankranthi. City holds film festivals every year. Bangalore offers diverse cuisine representing diversification in cultures. City is also famous for its nightlife. Several clubs, bars, pubs, discs and rock concerts in city make it pub capital of India.</p>
<p>Cricket is in gene of Bangalore, an array of cricketers is from city. Rahul Dravid, Syed Kirmani, Bhagwat Chandrasekhar, Anil Kumble, Gundappa Chandrasekhar are few to name. Educational institutes in Bangalore are Indian Business Academy, Xavier College, Indian Institute of Management, Presidency College, Christ College, International Institute of Information Technology and National Law School.</p>
<p>Shopping in Bangalore is a must for those looking for rose wood, sandalwood items, Mysore silks, ivory artifacts and lambani jewellery. City is also known for handloom silk and cotton sarees and cloth. The main shopping areas of city are Commercial Street, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Jayanagar Shopping Complex and Kempe Gowda road. Bangalore has an international airport HAL airport which handles number of international and domestic flights. A new Bangalore international airport is under construction. Indian railways connect city to other cities of India and metro system allows access within the city. Auto rickshaws, taxis and public buses are also an option to travel in city.</p>
<p>The Vidhana Saudha is a four storeyed building housing state legislative assembly and secretariat. The magnificent building constructed in neo-Dravidian style is made of Bangalore granite. Building is a perfect blend of ancient architecture and modern styles. The illuminated building at night looks stunning with musical fountains at surrounding parks. Tipu’s palace is built of teakwood and was constructed between 1781-1791. The floral designs on walls and ceilings make it noteworthy. This two storeyed building with ornate wooden structure and pillars, arches and balconies is a landmark of city.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gii.in/India/bangalore-palace/">Bangalore palace</a> build in 1887 by Chamaraja Wodeyar in Tudor-style is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The palace is famous for its architecture, carving and paintings. The grand entrance with floral motifs, moldings and relief paintings on ceilings in interior give this monument an edge over other places. Other famous attractions of city are Sri Banashankari Amma Temple, Attara Kacheri, State Archaeological Museum, Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall, Fun World and number of emporiums.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Vidhana Soudha is the place of the state government of Karnataka. This wonderful structure was positioned in Bangalore. It is a grand building, built in a technique, in some cases explained as Neo-Dravidian, Dravidian techniques and Rajasthani Jharokha.</p>
<p>During the 1950s, Shri Kengal Hanumanthaiah is endorsed with the plan of the Vidhana Soudha. He traveled Russia, Europe, United States and other areas and found the design of constructing Vidhana Soudha by integrating different designs from the edifices he had seen. The foundation was positioned by the Jawaharlal Nehru (Prime Minister of India) on 13 July 1951. This building was finished in the year 1956.</p>
<p>It has four different grounds above and one ground below floor level and spreads out across a region of 700 by 350 feet. It is the greatest governmental house in India. Its eastern side has a veranda with twelve granite columns, 40 feet high. Top to the entrance hall is a getaway of stairs with 45 steps over 200 feet broad. A portrait of the Indian national emblem caps the middle dome.</p>
<p>Vidhana Soudha is enlightened on public holidays and Sundays.The government of Karnataka has built a model called Vikasa Soudha to the south of the building. The High court of Karnataka was located in opposite to the Vidhana Soudha.</p>

<p>The history of Delhi begins with the creation of Indraprastha by Pandavas. New Delhi is located on south of old city which was constructed by mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The 20th century leading architect Edwin Lutyens planned the city and laid out central administrative areas of city. The heart of city Rashtrapati Bhawan is at Raisina Hill and Rajpath is stretch from Rashtrapati Bhawan to India Gate.<br />
New Delhi was a part of Aravalli but now only Delhi ridge are left. City falls under seismic zone-IV and lies on west of Yamuna River. City is governed by its own municipal government called New Delhi municipal council and is administrated by Municipal Corporation of Delhi.<br />
Delhi hosts hot and dusty summer from May to June with loo stroms. The cool sunny November to March months are pleasant. Most exuberant festivals celebrated in city are Holi, Diwali, Eid, Dusherra and Durga Puja.</p>
<p>Delhi homes around population of 321,883 and is spread over 42.7 square kilometers. The local government of New Delhi has made arrangements to meet transportation requirements of people. DTC buses, private buses, railways, metro rail, autos, taxis, rickshaws and airlines operate in city. City is main a hub for international tourists with two airports. Indira Gandhi international airport is international airport while a new international project is coming up at Noida, city adjacent to New Delhi. The domestic airport of city handles flights from almost every city of India. New Delhi has three main railway stations New Delhi Railway Station, Nizamuddin Railway Station and Old Delhi Railway Station.</p>
<p>City has diversified culture with national events as Republic Day, Independence Day and Gandhi Jayanti which are celebrated with great zeal in New Delhi. Religious festivals as Diwali, Durga Puja, Holi, Lohri, Shivratri, Eid, Buddha Jayanti, Christmas showcase unity in diversity. A number of events as Qutub Festival, kite flying festival, Mango festival, Vasnat Panchami and many other are held every year.</p>
<p>Delhi is a kind of place which offers every kind of entertainment to its residents and visitors. A number of cinemas, discs, pubs and eat out joints at Saket, Priya, Connaught Circus and other places in city are a hot spot for youngsters. Theatres as Kala Academy and Sri Fort Auditorium are located at Mandi House in city which hosts famous plays. Shopping spree at Delhi’s hottest markets Connaught Circus, Greater Kailash, South Extension, Sarojini Nagar, Lajpat Nagar and many shopping malls is an ideal way to spend day.</p>
<p>New Delhi also houses National Rail Museum, India Gate, Jantar Mantar, Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Nehru Museum, Doll Museum, Craft Museum, Old Fort, Safdurjung Fort, Red Fort, Birla Mandir, Isckon Temple, Bangla Sahib Gurdawara, Akshardham Temple, catholic Cathedral, Mughal Garden, Rose Garden, Lodhi garden, Zoo and many other are landmarks of the city.</p>

<p>History</p>
<p>Chennai has given out as an essential economic, administrative and military centre meeting back to the first century. It has been ruling by South Indian empires like the Chola, the Vijaynagar, the Pallava and the Pandya empires. At the end of nineteenth century, it was connected to other important states like Kolkota and Mumbai. It was a significant base from 1965 to 1967 for the Tamil Nadu protest against the burden of Hindi. <p>Culture</p>
<p>The culture of Chennai influences its different people. It is well recognized for its Hindu temples and classic dance programs. In every year, Chennai organized a five weeklong Music Season in December that has been mentioned as the biggest cultural programs in the world. This city is also well recognized for its Classical dance known Bharatanatyam. Kalakshetra is the main cultural centre for Bharatanatyam. It has an exciting theatre scene, with a great number of Tamil theaters to be performed. It commemorates lots of festivals. Pongal is the main festival of Chennai. It is celebrated on 14 April every year. Other festivals like Christmas, Thai Poosam, Eid and Deepavali are also commemorated in the City.</p>

<p>Chennai is considered as the Gateway to South India, it is well attached to other areas of India. The main national highways spread out towards Bangalore, Tiruvallur, Kolkata, Pondicherry and Trichy. The greatest bus station is known as Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus in South Asia. The Chennai International Airporst is the main worldwide gateway in India. It offers both international and domestic flights and attached to the main hubs in the Middle East, North America, South Asia, Europe and the South East Asia.</p>

<p>There are many parks in Hyderabad. Lumbini Park is located on the Tank Bunk Road, alongside the Hussian Sagar Lake and the remarkable Buddha Mandir. This park is basically for kids and includes boating facilities, eat out joints, waterfalls, colorful floral clock, a big open space for the comfort of kids, musical fountains and many more attractions. Many slides and swings are also available in the park for the children. While boating, visitors seen a wonderful statue of Buddha made up of granite.</p>
<p>This park is open from Tuesday to Sunday. In 1994, the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority started a Buddha Poornima project, this park is a part of the project. A musical fountain has been daily organized ion this park. This musical fountain synchronizes its showering with the tune of some Hindi and Telegu songs. In the evening, this part has offer a great attractive look and many lovers, children and evening strollers are seen in the park. A large floral colored clock is visible to the visitors when they enter in the park. There is lush greenery in the park and there are many flowering plants, pebbles, cacti, rocks and large trees are in the park. Before few years, there is a bomb blast have been taken place in the Lumbini Park and 11 peoples were killed.</p>

Snow Park sprawls over 17,000 sq feet area. It is located on Lower Tank Bunk Road, behind Indira Park. There is some entry charges conducted as Rs 200/- per hour for children and Rs 250/- per hour for adults. Batches are gone in this for one hour and in one batch about three hundred people are allowed. By using art technology, in this snow park, artificially snow is produced and allowed to fall which almost offers a real look.</p>
<p>In the snow world, there is a “Cryo Zone” which includes igloos, alpine forest, some figures of polar bears, penguins and some other attractions made with the help of artificially produced snow. The snow is made of safe elements as mineral water quality water and there will be no harmful effects of this snow. At the time of entry, to all the customers waterproof shoes, gloves and some warm clothes is provided by the park members so as to protect from the cold climate inside due to continues falling of snow. To all the visitors, a sweltering hot soup is also served.</p>

It is like a home for thousands of visiting artists, performing artists consider it as a temple and for art and lake lovers it gives a breadth of fresh air. This showcase of arts contains wonders on stones, many arts on wood, different potters, wheels, magic in fabric and different art and crafts from different cultures. It is just like a heaven for art and craft loving people.</p>
<p>There are many cottages in this center stage of culture. Some cottages are used as classrooms where teaching about art and craft is given. Also there are many trees are there. In the middle of Shilparamam, an amphi theatre is placed to perform Bharata Natyam, Bhangra, English plays or any other music concerts. In March 2000, a living rock gallery is added in Shilparamam and named as Prakarti Raga is the newest addition. In this gallery the artists show their art to the whole word with the help of living rocks. In the first two weeks of March every year, a internationally famous “Annual Crafts Festival” is being held. In this festival, artists from all over the country participate and show their art skills.</p>

<p>In Hyderabad, Falaknuma Palace is situated from 5 km south from Charminar. It is regarded as the most excellent palace. The Prime Minister of Hyderabad, Nawab Vikar-ul-Umra began this building on March 3, 1884 and nine years are taken by the masons to complete this palace. In 1897, Nawab Vikar-ul-Umra sold this palace to Nizam Ali. Nizam Ali used this palace as a guest house. Italian Architect used the Italian marble in the construction of this great palace. It is surrounded by hills that are 2000 feet high. This palace spread over 9, 39,712 sq meters.</p>
<p>This palace was designed in such a manner that it resembles the shape of a scorpion with two stings spread out as wings on the north. In the middle, main building is seen. In this palace there is a library in which Holy Quran is also available. This palace includes prominent dining hall which support 100 guests at a same time. Artistic furniture is seen all through the palace. Some marble figures have been designed at a little interval on stairs. Falaknuma palace also wires an electrical and telephone system with the help of large switchboards. The offer floor of this big palace shows a panoramic vision of the city. The living quarters have been designed at the ground floor. In this palace, there are total 22 airy halls and 220 bountifully decorated rooms. Before visiting Falaknuma palace, you have to take permission.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mecca Masjid is regarded as one of the seven wonders of the Hyderabad. Muhammad Quli Qutlub Shah commissioned this biggest Masjid and the conquerer Aurangazeb had been completed this Masjid. Construction began in 1694 and was taken about 77 years to be completed and the construction is supervised by Mir Faizullah Baig and Rangaiah Chowdary. Mecca Masjid is the oldest one Masjid in the Hyderabad. The Mecca Masjid is located in the Southern sector of the Hyderabad city. In 1996, it was stated as a protected monument.</p>
<p>The main hall of the Mecca Masjid has a height of 75 feet, width of 220 feet and length is of 180 feet. In this Masjid there is a pond flanked by slab seats. It is believed that if a person sits on one of the pond’s seats then he will surely once return to Hyderabad. In 1995, this building has given a chemical wash because the structure of this building is cracked because of lack of maintenance. In August 2001, in order to put a stop on the further damage of the Mecca Masjid, Charminar (a traffic zone), is made by the Andhra Pradesh government. On May 18, 2007 there was a bomb explosion take place at the Mecca Masjid and about 16 people were killed and 56 were seriously injured.</p>
