Lumbini Park – Tank Bund

There are many parks in Hyderabad. Lumbini Park is located on the Tank Bunk Road, alongside the Hussian Sagar Lake and the remarkable Buddha Mandir. This park is basically for kids and includes boating facilities, eat out joints, waterfalls, colorful floral clock, a big open space for the comfort of kids, musical fountains and many more attractions. Many slides and swings are also available in the park for the children. While boating, visitors seen a wonderful statue of Buddha made up of granite.

This park is open from Tuesday to Sunday. In 1994, the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority started a Buddha Poornima project, this park is a part of the project. A musical fountain has been daily organized ion this park. This musical fountain synchronizes its showering with the tune of some Hindi and Telegu songs. In the evening, this part has offer a great attractive look and many lovers, children and evening strollers are seen in the park. A large floral colored clock is visible to the visitors when they enter in the park. There is lush greenery in the park and there are many flowering plants, pebbles, cacti, rocks and large trees are in the park. Before few years, there is a bomb blast have been taken place in the Lumbini Park and 11 peoples were killed.
