Audi A3 Review
2008 Audi A3 – with a personality which is its very own

German cars do have a personality that is their very own. It has not been marred in any way in spite of the globalization and the mix and merge of the world cultures and the fusion – culture that is much in vogue now. This specific German car has refined manners which is quite impressive, although, for some they could bring in some slick feeling. They need to be a little more chilly, sterile and isolating. Generally cars with more soul in them are popular and that’s the reason why the new 2008 Audi A3 comes as a wonderful surprise. It can resonate a friendly feeling like the Japanese Sedan but it does not go without the refinement or precision of the other German Audi makes.
The cabin of A3 is somewhat smaller than its sibling the A4. There is a feeling of the black plastics, with aluminum sparkling here and there, and though not so expensive and opulent in feel, the A3 furnishings are pleasing and sophisticated. There is an inbred sense of care and thought in the design. The leather upholstery has a quality feel and the seats are comfortable and supportive. Tall individuals can sit in the front and there is sufficient room for head and leg room for the six footers.
The car has an all-wheel drive, with a 6-speed automatic transmission and it has picked up the award for top-safety-pick from IIHS. The Audi A3 has the performance of a sports car and there are a number of things to love about this car. It has superior workmanship; it is fun to drive, safety features and a gas mileage above average. Its added bonus is its fun-drive quotient.
The one big problem about the A3 is that it is pretty expensive. On the internet review forums, the A3 performance wins an 8.7 on 10, which speaks highly of its performance as a sports car. The Audi A3 exterior is wonderfully styled and looks somewhat like the sedans of the past. In short it is pricey looking and sporty. Audi’s warranty is for 50000 miles or for 4 years. Considering Audi’s reputation for being a safe car, Audi promises a very secure ride. With the plush look inside and the sports car experience; the 2008 Audi A3 has the makings of a great commuter car!
Price Range : 25000 – 30000$ Based on accessories and dealers quotes.
