Bullet The Silent Grabber Review

The Bullet is well known for attracting its customers silently, although the most special feature in a Bullet motorcycle is its thudding sound. Royal Enfield which is the producer of Bullet motorcycles looks to expand its business in the Indian auto market, even though it faces tough competition from other auto giants like Hero Honda and Bajaj. A bullet occupies one of the top slots in one’s dream machines; no matter if he is a college student or an IT professional or if he lives in a rural area or in a metro.
Royal Enfield not only boasts of selling its Bullet among the passionate Indian customers but also sells its famous brand in over twenty countries. Just for example, Royal Enfield sells three versions of its Bullet in the UK, namely the Bullet Electra, The Bullet Sixty-5 (449cc) and the Euro Classic. In fact, the Bullet Sixty-5 which is a 449cc bike is sold in similar numbers compared to the Rocket III, a 2300 cc bike which comes from the largest auto manufacturer of Britain, Triumph. Royal Enfield has also been able to penetrate the huge Harley Davidson’s market in the U.S with many versions of its Bullet namely, Bullet Deluxe, Bullet Military, Bullet Classic, Bullet Sixty-5 and the Bullet Electra. Besides, if you talk about its annual sale, Royal Enfield reaches more than 50,000 units every year which includes quite a decent number of exports.
However, the question may arise in your mind that what is so special about the Bullet? There are a lot of unmatched qualities that you can hardly find in any other bike other than the Bullet. Some of the features include the thudding sound, the solid and grandiose looks, unmatched driving position, impeccable handling and ride and the most important of them all is the rich heritage of the Bullet. The Bullet has the capability of catching a car and even has the features of intimidating much hyped sports bikes including the Suzuki Hayabusa. The famous tag of Enfield for it Bullet reads out “Built like a gun, goes like a bullet” which is sure to make an impact on your mind when you ride it. The truth lies in the fact that whether it is a Hero Honda Karizma, a TVS apache or a Bajaj Pulsar, these bikes have to come a long distance to match the qualities of a Bullet.
The Bullet has attracted more customers over the years with its old styling but every now and then modern technologies were incorporated into the system to meet the contemporary requirements. It introduced its all-aluminum made lean burn engine in the year 2005 that increased its fuel economy to 30-35kpl. Other new features in a Bullet include 12V headlamp, gas filled shock absorbers in rear, rear single lead drum brake, front twin lead drum brake and 19” tires both in the front and rear. Moreover, Royal Enfield offers many high performance variants of the Bullet in India which includes the Bullet Machismo, Bullet Electra 5S and the Bullet Thunderbird. All these bikes have nearly the same features including a five speed gear box and 346 cc four stroke engine.
