Cover letters are highly important when one either applies for the job or a good scholarship for the future. While one is applying for the scholarship, the exact reason why one is opting for it should be specified. The scholarships are generally offered to the people who are having a great command over the area of work and at the same time are little extra-ordinary and different from the crowd.
Selecting the candidates for the scholarship is indeed a tough task by itself. One needs to conduct interviews, aptitude tests and based on it one needs to offer the scholarship to the most deserving candidates. So in this case a good start is half done. If the cover letter is good then one has better chance of winning the scholarship as it proves the ability of the individual to have better chance to prove his capability over the other candidates and other competitors.
All specific qualifications as well as results of the previous examinations should be specified along with any good positions availed in the past which helps in attaining a better hold over the place.
