Ubuntu software based Noahpad Mini Laptop
Noahpad is a device created by Taiwan-based Company E-Lead Electronic. It is a sort of mini laptop which you can carry around with you wherever you go.
Looking into its features, the Noahpad comes with a seven inch LCD panel. By default it will run Ubuntu software, but it is capable of running Windows XP. It includes stereo speakers and built-in microphones. You can also plug a microphone or earphone jack into this device. It weighs 0.78 kg and there is easy to carry around with you.
How much of memory capabilities does this device have? Well it comes with a 30GB hard drive and 512MB of RAM space. The LCD panel is lit by LED lights. An added advantage here is that when you lift the opening of it’s front panel, you can see a QWERTY keyboard which is a split keyboard.
The keyboard has large dual touch pad offering ease-of-use. You can fold the side of the panels of the backwards and the keyboard can be used even by the blind. It’s a very handy device and is being promoted by the makers as a "classmate, roommate, and travelmate" for users. It’s ideal for people on the move.
