This famous American actress was born on 10th August, 1978 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. She was a very studious student in her schools. But her mind always went beyond the books to a far away world of freedom and fame. Her dedication for her studies can be noticed from the fact that she attained a grade of nine in her school. Alison was studying in a school near her hometown in Wellesley, MA.

Those days Gus Van Sant was casting for his upcoming blockbuster “To Die For” starring Nicole Kidman and many others. Alison Folland’s drama teacher took her to the auditions and that clicked for her career. She was cast for the role of Lydia.
