Alyson Hanigan Biography
With her attractive looks and charming personality, Alyson Hanigan succeeded in making a good impression on the WB series, the Vampire Slayer. Being Buffy’s best friend, Willow Rosenberg, she impressed her fans and again in 1999, when American Pie released. After the release of this film, she became famous in the big screen.
Born on March 24, 1974 in Washington, Alyson Hanigan became of the most popular TV commercial experts. Since her childhood, Hanigan appeared in a series of commercials including McDonald’s. When she was 11, she went to Los Angeles to start a bright career in film as well as in television. Her first debut movie on the big screen was “My Stepmother Is an Alien.” The very next year, she won the sitcom Free Spirit. In addition, she acted in several television shows and sitcoms.
In 1997, she won as a part of Willow on Buffy. The show became a great success among viewers as well as critics. This unexpected success in the life of Hanigan opened new opportunities. In 1998, she acted in a comedy called Dead Man on Campus with Tom Everett Scott. After that she acted in a movie, American Pie, where she got wider recognition from viewers and critics. In 2001, when sequel American Pie 2 was released, everyone appreciated her performance. Again she returned back to television and worked in a serial called How I Met Your Mother. And in 2006, she appeared in different guest roles on Veronica Mars – a drama.
