Born on April 03, 1986 in Thousand Oaks, California -- Amanda Bynes is a daughter of a dentist cum comedian, Rick Bynes. Her father is Catholic and her mother is Jewish. But she calls herself Jewish.

This young and enthusiastic actress gathered fame on Nickelodeon. In her teenage years she went to the WB network. In the year 1996, she came as a regular cast member for kid’s sketch comedy show called “All That.” From this show, she earned a lot of fame from her admirers.

She remained attached with Nickelodeon-style broad comedy. She was also a panelist for the game show called “Figure It Out.” She was also a host for a popular show called as The Amanda Show and won several awards. While lending her voice for the cartoon episode, Rugrats, she made a big jump from the Nickelodeon world to a new PG- 13 world. In the very next year, she started her movie debut in a comedy film called “Big Fat Liar.” In the year 2002, she started the WB sitcom, “What I Like About You.” Here Amanda Bynes has played as a comedic.

The romantic comedy called “What a Girl Wants,” released widely after her 17th birthday. In this comedy Amanda Bynes is seen in a major role. She has acted as a girl who visits England to search her lost father and meets with romance. Her most recent movie is “She's the Man,” a full comedy, which is based on Shakespearean novel, Twelfth Night.
