Amber Mariano Biography

The Croatian beauty Amber Mariano was born on August 11th, 1978 in the Pittsburgh suburb of Beaver, Pennsylvania. She attended high school in her hometown and is a graduate of Westminster College where she earned her Bachelor or Arts degree in public relations and she has a minor in speech communications. She served as a new member coordinator while she was still in school and she was also a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Alumni.
Amber has starred on the second season of Survivor, the All-Stars installment of Survivor. Just before the votes were to be read on the season finale' of the Survivor All-Stars episode, Rob Mariano proposed to his love Amber on live television, and she said yes. Moments later the decision was revealed in a 4-3 decision that Amber was the Sole Survivor. She then starred with her fiance' Rob in the Amazing Race and The Amazing Race: All-Stars. She also filmed a 10-episode show for the Fox Reality Channel - 'Against the Odds' with Rob, who was then her husband.
After her marriage to Rob Mariano, Amber moved with him from her hometown to Pensacola, Florida, in 2006. They also have a home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As learned from a post-race interview conducted by TV Guide, the couple are said to be in the process of a secret new project which is a new reality show called Tontine that follows 15 different contestants that are competing for keys on all seven continents over 100 days, and the winner is to receive a huge $10 million prize.
