Ami Bluebell Dolenz Biography
American actress Ami Bluebell Dolenz was born on January 8, 1969. Ami is the beautiful daughter of Micky Dolenz and British television presenter Samantha Juste. Her paternal grandparents were the films actors George Dolenz and Janelle Johnson. One might think that Ami might have been high spirited and full of energy when she was a small child, as her mother would tie bells to her shoes so that she would know where Ami was at all times.
Most notably appearing as Tony Danza's daughter in the 1989 motion picture, She's out of Control. She also appeared in the TV sitcom Ferris Bueller as Sloane Peterson, that was previously portrayed by Mia Sara. Ami has enjoyed appearing in many t.v. shows and movies. In 1992, her starring role came playing a genie in Miracle Beach. Ami played Heather Dombrowski in the independent film Mr. Id. and she was a regular on the TV show General Hospital. Contrary to what many people might think, Ami is not a real life martial artist as she portrayed in Growing Pains as the cute and friendly karate student. Her husband Jerry however, is a retired world champion kickboxer.
She was married in 2002 to Jerry Trimble. They currently manage KidPix Productions, a company that stages birthday parties as movie shoots. She performs with the Write Act Repertory Theatre. With her mother, she also co-owns Bluebell Boutique, an Internet custom jewelry shop.
