Barbi Benton Biography
Barbi Benton is one of the most beautiful and stunning actresses to grace the sliver screen. Born into a Jewish American family as Barbara Klein in New York, she attended Rio Americano High School in Sacramento after her family moved here. Her entry into the entertainment world began at the age of 16, when she took to modeling to finance herself.
Fame came with her way with a role in the television show ‘Playboy After Dark’. It was during this time that she became the girlfriend of Hugh Hefner's. She was at the height of glamour in the 1970’s. It was during this period that she got a role in the country music series ‘Hee Haw’. After about four seasons, she left this series hoping to get a more substantial Hollywood movie role. She got a part in the ABC-TV comedy series ‘Sugar Time!’ but this did not last for long.
It was also during the 1970’s that she became a recording artist and a movie actress. Movies that she is well remembered for include ‘Deathstalker’, ‘The Naughty Cheerleader’ and ‘Hospital Mass’.
Beyond her role as a model, she is someone who has very good talents in singing and is knows for her country singing. Her 1975 record, ‘Brass Buckles’, came into the top five on Billboard's country singles chart. On the personal front, she left
She left Hugh Hefner and married George Gradow, who was well established in dealing with real estate. Her marriage took place in 1979 and she has two children, a son Alexander Benton Gradow and daughter, Arianna. She is no longer into acting, and is now into doing interior decorating for homes.
