Barret Swatek

Barret Swatek started out as a figure skater and made tremendous achievements in this field, from the time she first began to take to it at the age of five. She continued with figure skating till the age of twelve, after which she deviated into singing and acting in the local theater.

This stunning actress was born in Birmingham, Alabama, Her parents are Bill and Lana Swatek.Deciding that the entertainment world was what she wanted, she took to degree in Film at the Loyola Marymount University, Arizona. She started out with a role in television show ‘Power Ranger Turbo’. Her impressive acting talents got her parts in the series ‘Three Sisters’ and ’Just Shoot Me’. Though the parts offered here were smaller ones, she made her impact with the audience and in 1996, she got her big breakthrough with the role of Cheryl on the hit WB series "7th Heaven"

In 2001, she was selected to play the character opposite to Jason Alexander and Wendie Malick in ‘On Edge’. This comedy got a lot of attention towards the young star. The character she plays here - Veda Tillman makes use of her ice skating talents as the character is a champion figure skater, set on to competing and winning the Olympic Gold.
