Bebe Neuwirth is a stunning looking and very talented actress, who has won an Emmy Award and Tony Award during her career in television and film. Interestingly, she is very much into dancing and had attended the attended Juilliard in New York City between 1976 and 1977.
She made her foray into Hollywood in 1980, with the film ‘A Chorus Line’. She also landed the part in revivals of ‘Little Me’(1982) and ‘Sweet Charity’ (1986). The film ‘Sweet Charity’ earned her a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Fame and recognition came her way with her role as a showgirl and killer Velma Kelly in the revival of Chicago. This role earned her a Tony and Drama Desk Awards.
Her most notable films include Green Card, Bugs, Jumanji, Liberty Heights, Tadpole, and Celebrity. Tadpole eared her the title of Best Supporting Actress Seattle Film Critics.
In small screen, Bebe Neuwirth is popular for her role as Dr. Lilith Sternin in the hit comedy series Cheers, running from 1986 to 1993. The role also earned her two Emmy Awards one in 1990 and another in 1991. She has made appearance in series such as ‘Deadline’ (2000), ‘Hack’ (2003), ‘Law & Order.Trial by Jury’ (2005). Interestingly she played herself in series Will and Grace and on Celebrity Jeopardy.
