Bonnie Hunt Biography

Bonnie Hunt is a one of the most talented personalities to work in the American Film industry. Not only is she an amazing actress, she is also a film producer, director, writer and comedian as well.

Her work in the entertainment industry began when she co-founded the improvisational comedy troupe named ‘An Impulsive Thing’. In 1986, she was seen to be performing in Chicago's world-famous ‘The Second City’. In 1993, she teamed up with friend David Letterman in producing the T.V series ‘The Building’. She did a similar teaming with Letterman in producing ‘The Bonnie Hunt Show’, which in spite of gaining praise from critics as cancelled.

She married John Murphy, who is an investment banker in 1988. In 2000 she took on the role of director and screenwriter in the film ‘Return to Me’. Other notable films in which she has played a role includes ‘Beethoven’, ‘Beethoven's 2nd’,‘Jumanj’i and ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’ and its sequel. Currently, she is set to host the talk show ‘The Bonnie Hunt Show’ for which NBC Universal made a 2-year commitment announcement.
