Melina Perez
Melina Perez was born on 9 March in the year 1979 Los Angeles, California, United States. Her height is 5 ft 4 in and weighs 55 kilos. She is into professional wrestling. She is also a manager in the WWE RAW. She has a great body and does not mind flaunting it by flexing her body and legs to the seductive poses. She is most famous for her “the greatest ring entrance in the history of sports entertainment.” Apart from her sex appeal she is also two times WWE Women’s Champion a capable manager. Nicknamed as “The Barracuda” she is known to create much hype and energy in a match by sheer encouragement.
Perez started her career as a model. She decided to wrestle professionally after being persuaded by Mike Henderson. She has done her training under several mentors like Jesse Hernandez, Lance Storm and Dave Finlay. She was the most talented women wrestler according to her mentors and was known for high flying, submission type wrestling which came to her very naturally.
Her career is mainly associated with WWE where she is the main member of the team MNM which also comprises of Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury. Together they contended for the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship title and won. Since then they have made several onscreen feuds mostly with Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero.They fought officially. Though MNM won the match and the title it ended up with Eddie Guerrero performing a frog splash right on top of Perez.
She has also feuds with other women wrestlers like Michelle McCool, Torrie Wilson and Christy Hemme who don’t agree with her calling herself as “the most dominant diva”. She wrestled with all of them and also defeated them .The most memorable match was Bra and Panties match against Torrie Wilson. In October 2005 she became associated with the Legion of Doom and continued her success story.
During Armageddon 2005 she created much hype when she turned up at the ring with a lawyer to sue Batista for sexually harassment .But it was actually Perez who tried to seduce Batista from wrestling against MNM alongside Mysterio. Batista was just not the man to be coaxed or fooled so easily. He had the situation his way and walked to the ring and won the match. Melina then hired Mark Henry for protection against Batista. With the worlds strongest man on her side she feuded with Angle. Her feuds did not end there. In April 2006 she was fired along with John Nitro for slapping General Manager Theodore Long. Her trademark is the extreme makeover finishing move and the “Divastator”. In 2007 she was defeated by Candice Michelle in Vengeance.
