Rajeev Khandelwal first started out being behind the camera writing and directing documentary scripts. He made his debut on the television screen a few years ago. He was first selected as a model for products like Lml, Green label whiskey, Vediocon refrigerators and Kodak express.
On the televison screen he has played many roles most prominent ones being the lover boy Sujal Garewal in Kahiin to Hoga, Acp Prithiviraj in CID and Varun as the raw intelligence officer in Time Bomb. He has also played Rajveer singh shikhawat in the serial Left right Left and has also hosted for the game show Deal ya no deal.He is 30 years of age now and defiantly rules the Indian television screen. He is like the chocolate boy who can make all the girls faint.
After his romantic portal of Sujal in Kahin to Hoga .Although he is the most popular actor on the block it was not his ambition to be so when he first set foot in Mumbai. He first started with directing documentaries and script writing and later got into acting.
He is now all set to play his favorite sport of badminton alongside with none other than the national champion Amod Tilak. They play in the Goregoan sports complex. He has always had a passion of sports and has also represented his college in diving and swimming. After he shifted to Munbai from Delhi he has been regularly practicing to play squash badminton and also tennis.
His favorite badminton player is Amod Tilak with whom he has been friends with for a long time. He considers him best in the business and hopes to pick up a few tricks in while playing along side him. He still maintains his child like passion for games and sports as he has been always very fond of sports. When ever he gets free time at a stretch he plays badminton tennis and squash at the Goregoan sports complex. Giving him company Shabbir Auwalia also plays along with him as even he is fond of these sports.As his father was in the army he had access to all these clubs from which his passion for these games developed. He also used to be a diving champion in his college days.He is also very passionate about horse riding. Recently he has joined Jeetu Verma’s stud farm following this passion and enjoys spending his time there.
