Biotech Jobs in India
Biotech is a term which is related to a technology that used in science, agriculture, medicine and in food. At present, almost all companies use some biological technology to solve the problems related to the products. About 50 years back, modern biological methods has come into existence and now with the development of modern techniques and new methods, many industries have been successful in improving the quality of their products. There are many jobs available in this field which is extending from the medical schools, government labs and the universities.
In every biotech unit there are various departments which need various employees. You can apply in R&D department for the post of scientists, programmer, lab assistant, facility manager, molecular modeler, scientific directors, research associates, bioinformatics engineer and many other posts are there. In the operation department you can apply for toxicologist, environmental engineer, calibration technician, manufacturing manager, process development technician, purchasing agent etc. For the quality department there are some posts as (QC) quality control manager, validation manager, supervisor, QC analyst and QA documentation specialist. There are many posts are for clinical research section as medical affairs director, associate, clinical research manager, biostatistician and so on. Project management department also needs some candidates for the post of project manager, project assistant and director of project management. Some posts are also available for the business development and for the finance and administration. Some companies want to allow only experienced people which have a complete knowledge of about a particular field. Some companies have criteria of four year course in biotechnology, biomedical engineering, biosystem engineering or some other related discipline. Persons having knowledge about chemistry, biology, computer science, information technology, or in science and technology are also allowed to enter in this field. It is supposed that the people of India have a good command over mathematics and biosciences, so it is a great career option for Indians.
