CAT Sample Questions

Students who want to pursue management studies at the post graduate level from IIM India will have to take the CAT examinations. CAT is otherwise known as the Common Admission Test.

The ministry for Human Resource Development with the department of secondary and higher education funds and manages the six IIM in India. They are located at Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Calcutta, Lucknow, Indore and Kozhikode.

The examination has no definite syllabus, as it tests the natural ability of a student towards his/her craved aim. The questions are set to test the students in:
Quantitative Aptitude,
Reading Comprehension & Verbal Ability,
Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency

The eligibility criteria for all the IIM is a bachelor’s degree or equivalent which is recognized by the AIU/AICTE as eligible for PG studies in management.

No minimum scoring has been set by IIM as the cut off differs every year. The score of the CAT is a relative one. But you will have to remember that each and every section has to be cleared separately.
