Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif, is a very famous model turned actress. She was born in the year 1984 and brought up in Hawaii. An interesting fact about her is that she is one among eight children born to her parents. Her father is a Kashmiri and her mother is an English woman.

Katrina started her modeling career at the young age of fourteen. Later, she was approached for a jewelry campaign. After this, Kaif moved to London. Kaif is featured in many advertisements such as “Veet”.

Her film career began when director Kaizad Gustad, launched her as the heroine for his film, “Boom”. The film went well and gave Katrina a break. She then moved to Mumbai permanently and started doing a lot of modeling assignments. Many of the directors were initially reluctant to offer her roles, as she could not speak Hindi. All her dialogues had to be dubbed by an artist. Later, in the movie “Namastey London”, she changed the trend by dubbing her own voice.
