Visit Safdarjungs Tomb at New Delhi
AdvertisementNawab Shuja-ud-Daulah was manufactured Safdarjung’s Tomb in 1753-1754. Safdarjung was the chief of Awadh and afterward become the leader of Muhammad Shah. This tomb is positioned on the Lodi road, Delhi. The tomb of Safdarjung is located in the center of a garden that extends more than a region of 300 sq m. The garden of this building is set down on the outline of the Mughal Charbagh Style. This tomb was put up generally on the model of Humayun’s tomb.
The tomb of Safdarjung shows the final stage of the Mughal way of architecture. Safdarung’s tomb was manufactured in buff stone and red dark sandstone. The square middle chamber of the tomb is bordered through 8 rooms all around. Every apartment, excluding the corner one is rectangular in form, the corner one to be octagonal. The dome increases from a sixteen-sided support in the tomb. On the side of this tomb are the pearl palace known ‘Jangli Mahal’, beautiful pavilions called as ‘Moti Mahal’, Badshah Pasand and the sylvan palace or the favorite of emperor.
There are different water canals leading to different structures. It has been criticized for its fault in magnitude hence a short of stability in its structure.
