Education Resume Templates
Student resumes tend to be quite different from professional resumes in the respect that they ought to be fairly simple. You would want to avoid going into too much detail in a student resume. Since a student is unlikely to have a lot of previous work experience there is not much to write about anyway and you would want to avoid mentioning details of past work that is irrelevant in this case.
As students people have generally worked in hotels, stores, gas stations and shopping malls. These are non-professional positions and need not be exhaustively elaborated on a student’s resume. However if you have had internship or have been employed at a regular position in your field of study then you should make it a point to provide some detail in such cases.
The content must be well thought of. Mention as much pertinent information regarding your education as possible. Students generally struggle to generate the content of their resumes. A good idea is to build separate sections; one mentioning large scale projects, the other job specifics and then undergraduate or graduate studies.

Generally you should make an attempt to have completed your resume within the space of one page. You have a choice between using a summary or objective. Although both are fine it is better to use an objective. The education section should be most detailed and located at the top. Make sure to mention your GPA, scholarship, academic achievements, honors and awards.
If you follow the guidelines mentioned above you should be able to achieve an education resume that is impressive and practical at the same time. An ideal education resume should be well balanced focusing on the right things.
